Leon Richardson’s company, Chemico, had to move from making 500 units a day of hand sanitizer to 5 million a day. Rosa Santana’s company had to learn how to nimbly adjust and move Human Resources across companies as organizational demands have changed. They transitioned organizations seamlessly to work-from-home, with one company going from 0% to 70%. She details how the executive team rapidly aligned around and cascaded hoshin objectives to the frontline workers through fundamentals such as a cadenced management system and standardized work.
